Everything you need to know about our cat visiting service |
For too long we have been asked by many dog care customers if we also offer a cat visiting service whilst owners are away. Until recently this was not something we had considered, but having been talked into (!) looking after two dog care customers' gorgeous cats whilst they were away, we decided we would offer the same to all of our customers. We do not of course have cats staying in house with us, just because logistically with dogs visiting a lot of the time, it's just not a viable option. We do however feel that most owners prefer to have their cats remain in their own home whilst they are away. Cats are territorial creatures, most do not enjoy being put into a cattery (just like most dogs don't enjoy kennels!) so the all round solution for everyone concerned is that they are visited and cared for in their own surroundings, being fed morning and evening, just as if you were at home yourselves. We would either ensure you cat remains in it's own home whilst you are away, or allow the cat to come and go through a cat flap if that's what it usually would do. Your cat would be fed twice daily, fresh water given, the litter tray would be cleaned twice daily, and of course it goes without saying we would offer lots of cuddles and attention in your absence.
We can ensure your home remains safe and secure, and looks 'lived in' by opening and closing curtains, leaving lights on, taking in your post, and putting out your rubbish bins on their usual days. CRB checked for your own peace of mind
