Our new 'Bracco' beginning |
After the battles and misery that has been trying to locate Jacob, we decided that although this scenario is terrible, life must go on and we must move with it to retain our own sanity. As such, after missing the fabulous personality and lust for life that a Bracco gave us in Jacob being around, and the sheer fact that Jon had lost the hobby and enjoyment of working a dog, along came Pascha, a chestnut Bracco Italiano. He was born on the 8th of July 2009 and was part of a wonderful mating of two very special Bracco parents, Ceannacroc Lucia (Stephen Rawlings' Lucia) and Principe Dei Vicini Del Monastero (Kim Parris' Brogan) Pascha has become part of the family with ease, and has certainly kept us on our toes, he has been somewhat a very lively puppy, full of want and exploration, along which he is seemingly bomb proof ! All good for hunting and trials which we hope he will take to once old enough.
More than anything he's been a true breath of fresh air, and although he will never replace Jacob, has gone some way to filling the hole that he left behind.
Pascha has really been great fun, always a step (or 2!) ahead of the Spinoni, he is super intelligent, super cute, and super cool ! What more could a young man want or aspire to !
